    Hey gang....need your opinion on window shades / visors. Tape on vs in channel. seen lots of pros and cons on both. would love to hear your experience with these.

    In channel only since 2004 for me. Still running that original set on a Highlander.

    I'd only stick stuff on the paint on a beater.

    Roger that. what brand did you go with? any issues with scratches on window tinting???

    How is tint going to get scratched? Tint is on the inside, visor on the outside.

    Not sure, have never had them before. read somewhere where the channel ones scratched tinting cause it was tight at the top. That is why i am throwing it out there. New truck...new everything. don't want $100 mods to anger me. :]

    My tint shop provides lifetime warranty, including 'pinching'. Honda's were famous for that, as they sealed so tightly. Had a back door tint replaced 3x because of pinching, no questions asked.
