haha, I always keep an eye out for used swampers or pitbulls, if I happened to find a set that were priced right, I'd more than likely snatch em up

Let me know if you end up going there. I'll give her a call. I've had 4 Tacomas done And 1 El Camino. Plus she does all of our fleet work. From backhoes to dump trucks.

Cool. I'll give her a call tomorrow. Not sure if I should match the factory tint that's on the rear or redo all 4 a little darker.

Yea let her know your driving a distance and will be waiting. I usually go for a long walk and get something to eat. I always have her put the dark limo on the rear window and small side windows. Then I go with the darkest that's legal for the front doors. Also I get the strip for the windshield.

Thanks everyone. Got it done this past weekend. Came out great just how I wanted it. Went with 15% all around, however, the rears came with tinted glass so it looks more like a 10% in the back.

Gawd dammit! I just can't catch a break no how. :pout:

So i was out on the car port painting my tool box and putting my pile of go-fast stickers on the under side of the lid...

    IMG_20160615_125950239.jpg IMG_20160615_125820387.jpg

Well...I kept smelling gear lube. At first, I was putting it down to the pile of dirty rags I have sitting on the end of my bench, thinking that now that it was warm outside the ones with gear lube were giving off more vapor, but then a spotted this (which I had initially just took to be a damp spot)...

    IMG_20160615_134233099_HDR.jpg

    Further investigation revealed this...

    IMG_20160615_134256527_HDR.jpg

This truck must hate me. There's no other explanation. Why else would it freakin' break shit sitting in the gawd damn carport.:frusty::bananadead:

Yes, I'm a little effin' pissed about this, in no small part because it involves freakin' gear lube...and brake fluid...and an ass load of work taking the damn axles out of the housing.

And it went from fine to puking gear lube everywhere practically over night. It was fine yesterday when I took it to the store. This morning there was a big as puddle of gear lube under the tire. Probably going to have to replace the brake shoes too, which don't even have more than 1500 miles on them...which makes it even better because I absolutely love drum brakes...not!
