I was curios if anyone is experiencing this same issue. When I first picked my truck up last year, I put roughly 200 miles on it. I noticed the steering wheel was slightly cocked, and the truck had a decent pull to the right. I took it in, and made them check it. Service claims the toe camber was out on the left front, and they adjusted the alignment within spec. I took the truck back the same day, and although the pulling to the right improved, I felt the steering wheel itself was still off. I tried to ignore it, and drove it until my first 5k service. I asked a different dealership to check the alignment, and they claimed that everything "was in spec". The advisor also gave me the excuse that a member of their staff has the same truck, and the steering wheel was the same ("that is how they are making them"). Between my wife and I, we have owned 6 Toyota vehicles, none of which had alignment issues. To this day, I drive my brand new 2016 Tacoma frustrated, because I want my steering wheel to be perfect. We pay big money for something new, and it should be that way. Anyone have any insight they can share? I appreciate it!

How off centered is the steering wheel? Can you post a picture of the steering wheel with the wheels perfectly straight? The steering wheel could be off center by one groove in the cog on the column.

mine was off so i had them "checked it " they made it worse than before, about a 1/2 inch to the right on the top of the wheel . that pissed me off so at 900 miles i fixed it myself.
i put a tape line on the tie rod end 4in long and cut it were the locking bolt came a-crossed it so i had a reference mark. then i moved them the same amount (opposite direction other side ) to keep the alignment good. i ended up moving it the width of the electrical tape i was using for a gauge . in all it took only 30 min to get it corrected and 3 test drive up the road . no pull and the wheel is straight , now have 2800 miles on it . i may have them look at it when they get it for 5000 checkup.
when in doubt, fix it yourself ! (no one to blame)

I'll have to agree with "Jerkwithkeyboard", I would say 1/2 inch to the right. If I am on un-even surfaces, it could be up to an inch. And I always feel I am constantly adjusting the truck to track straight.

    Mine was the same.
Mine seemed to be getting worse before I finally took it in.
Driver side toe was way out of spec.
    Alignment fixed me up.

If your steering wheel spoke is not straight, your toe is off on your alignment. If its not straight it's not aligned, and may cause premature tire wear.
Make sure to rotated the tires @5k, and keep tire pressure to -3 psi of max psi load stated on tire sidewall for max tire life and fuel mileage if that is a concern to you.
    Stay safe
    Cheers!

I wish my first alignment job solved the issue... and the second "check up" claims everything is within spec. Maybe Ill try one more time, 3rd time is a charm right??
