Looking to lift a new Tacoma.

Hello all. I going to be buying a Tacoma in the next 6 months and have been doing tons of research on getting a lift done. I'm sure I'll be posting questions along the way.

After some preliminary research, I think I want a 2.5" lift using Bilstein 5100s for the front.

So here are my questions:
- What brand of lift would you recommend for the rear, or does Bilstein make a lift kit?
- Would you recommend installing a UCA?
- Is there anything else I should be considering for my first lift?

I would first recommend reading the Tacoma Lift Guide in the suspension section.

A lot of people say if you get the 5100's in the front, you can get AAL's in the rear. Also I believe if you go above 2.5" you need UCA's for your alignment. Check out toyteclifts.com

Yes 5100's are a good choice! But it also depends on how much you are willing to spend and what you are actually looking for performance wise? There are a lot of kits out there that range many price levels!
