    I had this issue too when I first joined. If you go into your 'preferences' settings you should be able to turn that off, but when I did I still received emails. What worked for me was when I opened up one of the emails and clicked on the "unsubscribe from notifications" link at the bottom of it. From then on I stopped getting them.
