What's the difference between a supercharger and a supercharger fit kit from TRD. I have a 2015 Tacoma.

You need both to complete the TRD supercharger installation

Welcome to TW. The supercharger fits all 4.0s, and contains the generic components. The kit contains all the vehicle specific components, like the intercooler. So while the FJ and Tacoma share the same supercharger, they have different install components in the kit that are vehicle specific. You need both to install.
