    Yes if you want it to fit in the stock opening. Or you could use your dremol and make a little notch for the cord to fit next too it.

    I'm an electrical newbie and I'm preparing to install my LED light bar and the OEM like switch from Amazon. Can someone point me in the right direction on what add a circuit I should buy to get power to illuminate the switch? There seem to be several options when it comes to the add a circuits (mini, some come with the extra fuses, etc). TIA.

    Just a heads up, there will be a slight variation on 3rd gens from the link you posted. In that link, it shows a nipple on the main wiring grommet that can be cut off in order to pass the wires through the firewall. On the 3rd gens, that is not there. However, the hood release cable passes through this grommet and the wires can be ran through there. I tried to do this from the inside of the cab out, and ended up poking through the grommet but it still works.
