Home made rear bumper

So I decided to finally do this the other day. I got a hefty peice of metal to start with and started cutting and drilling. So far its roughly 100 lbs. And i still have the sides to finish and eyelets to add.



As for the finish, i am bringing it to a buddy who owns a sandblasting and painting business. It will be painted to match my front bumper.

The license plate will be on a spring hing with the hitch receiver hidden behind it. I picked up some small bolt LEDs to illuminate it at night.

I have work and National Guard stuff going on so this is worked on when I have free time. I hope its finished soon.

I'll add more pictures as it developes, so long as I remember to take them.

Hell yeah I love seeing DIY bumpers! Finished mine up last week, just need to buy a skid plate for it... I also mounted 2 more pods on the front last night
