This thread is to see if there enough interest in a bracket for mounting LED Pods/Cubes in stock fog light location. I currently have this bracket in my 2015 Tacoma and @VLocos24 has another set and is doing me the favor of testing it out in his 2016 Tacoma. As I mentioned, it is just a feeler thread, so there is no commitment to buy.

    Bracket Info:
    • Works on 2012-2015 (2nd Gen) up to Current 2016+ (3rd Gen) Tacoma.
    • Works with most LED Pods/Cubes regardless of flush or surface mount, from cheap to top of the line brands. (Can provide info to confirm if your current LED Pod/Cube would work)
    • No drilling required for 2012-2015 (2nd Gen) Tacoma. One hole for a screw will be needed to be drilled in 2016+ (3rd Gen) Tacoma, which will not impede you from going back to stock fog lights and it is not in a visible location.
    Pricing:
    • Pricing is yet to be determined but most certainly would be less than current options out there. I do not own a shop, therefore I'm outsourcing everything and pricing depends on quantity. The size of the batch of brackets to be made would depend on the amount of interest shown. I would like to mention also, that if there is a current vendor who has the tools to be able to have these cut, I would definitely prefer to order the batch from them. All drawing are already in CAD.
    Material/Finish:
    • Brackets are made out of aluminum. I'm currently looking for powder coating places locally, color/finish would depend on what most prefer (A Poll could be made) I think something with a little bit of texture would be best for a more OEM look.

    Current Status:

    • Final bracket design is already ready. I'm currently working in a shroud to cover a small gap between the lights and the OEM bezel of the bumper. This gap is a result of the stock fog light lens being at an angle. Once I have the shroud ready and if there is enough interest in this, then I will pursue getting them produced to sell.

No, but there are currently options for 2005-2011 out there.

Right, but they're plug and play LED fogs. Figured I'd throw it out there.

So if I wanted to revert back to stock fogs later on, I could? No cutting or modifying on a '15?

Goal would be between $50-$60 shipped. With the current place I'm using I get the best price with at least a batch of 50 sets. I haven't look at other shops, but again, if there is enough interest I can call around and check if I can get it even lower.

I was kind of hoping that maybe there was a fabricator in the forum that could produce them.

Correct on 2012-2015, you would mount it exactly as you do with your OEM fog lights.

Well well well. You can count me in for a set then if/when these get produced if you can stick around that $60 price as mentioned above.

For clarification, on 2016+, Stock OEM fog lights only use one screw to mount to the bumper, although the fog lights have a mounting hole for a second screw (which 2012-2015 use), that is why I mentioned that 2016+ would need to drill a hole, in order to use a second screw just like 2012-2015 do. You could actually use only one screw if you wanted to and not drill any holes, but IMO that second screw would be good to support that difference in weight between the LED Pod and the OEM fog light, but that's up to you.
