hi everybody, here is a video of what it means when the magnetic clutch has failed in terms of the red dust and the pig squeal.

thank you all very much for contributing your AC repair experience to this forum, you saved me $2000 in Canada.

I was able to swap my compressor and my condenser in seven hours. I could do it again in about two! The four bolts on the compressor were the hardest to get out but that's because I was working on my back, my recommendation is to Jackie vehicles high as you possibly can, use multiple jackstands so there is no possible way of killing yourself.

then sit in the wheel well, obviously the wheel is off, wrap tape around your you joints universal joint extension on your socket set, that stops it from being too floppy. Anyway here is a video showing what happens when the magnetic clutch crops the bed. I think the majority of AC compressor failures in our second generation Tacoma's are in fact the magnetic clutch.

this was my very first time doing anything related to air-conditioning, so I apologize if the video is nubile.

I hope this helps somebody in the future visualize what is going on.
