We will only do 20 degree. If you want flat, we will do flat for $40. The height difference between 10, 15 and 20 is negliegable. The reason for the up charge to go flat is because we cut all the tubing in batches of 100's. To change our saw and fixtures to cut a different angle takes a while to only do for one set of sliders.

    Basic overland stuff...
I'd be all over a set but can't afford to wait 8-weeks. Any way to step up production time? PM me if it's possible.

We're doing everything we can to get the lead times back down but right now it is what it is. There are others waiting that have paid, wouldn't be fair to put yours in front of theirs. We have 31 sets in Production right now and we are working diligently to get them out before their ship dates and get lead times back to 3-4 weeks.

I'd recommend that if you Line-X them, that you don't Line-X the flanges where they mate to the truck. That stuff is so thick that it will make it that much harder to get everything fitted up.

My personal recommendation for coating them is to use VHT. It's really good spray paint.....and cheap.

Amen! I had mine Linex coated and it was a PITA to get them on. If you do it, don't do the mounting points, use the VHT epoxy spray paint.

Do you have a decent source for the VHT paint? My local AutoZone carries it for $7.99/can. I'm thinking it's going to take at least 4 cans??

They're still at powder coat. They're holding us up pretty heavily. I will try to get an update to you on when they expect to have them done.

So, I ran into a problem trying to install the sliders. I got them lined up on the truck and the front end interferes with the frame where the cab mount is on the drivers side.

This looks like it's causing the rest of the sliders to not sit flush against the frame.

I tried finagling it for a while to see if it would work anyway but I ran out of time and had to abort.

So now I figured I would need to cut the end shorter but I wanted to asks the experts before I go hacking away on the nice new sliders.
Should I cut it straight or angle it so the cut line runs parallel to the frame where it's hitting?

There is a similar situation on the passenger side.

Cut off 1", weld new cap back on, repaint. We ran into a fixture issue that we resolved but it appears you have had yours a while since we fixed it over a month ago. That's all we did to fix the others. Is this something you can do?

I bought these when I ordered the truck back at the end of November, and got them beginning of January. First mod I bought for the truck, they looked like the most solid design.

I've had the truck for a month now but just now have time to get these on.

Might not be as pretty but I can get it done. What thickness metal do y'all use for the end cap?
