Need Help or ideas on how to get the centering pin through this last leaf. I put in an AAL and everything was going smooth until now. Its off by 1/4 inch from the hole in the top leaf.
Do i just need to pull the axle back?IMG_2052.jpg

The weather is also not cooperating so it will have to be finished tomorrow. IMG_2051.jpg

I assume the frame is on jack stands and your jack is under the rear end housing. If so let the jack back down and realign your spring leafs. Put any type of rod through the holes to keep them aligned them use c-clamps on both aides to compress them evenly. Remove the rod and put the bolt through and tighten down the nut. Raise the axle and wrestle with it to get the bolt head into the hole and you're good to start on the u bolts.

Bilstein 5100's w/front's set at 1.75", TRD exhaust, Colormatched grill, Illuminated 4wd selector switch, BAMF Bolt on Sliders w/kickout.
In the future, using clamps on both sides of the pack, near the ends so they don't interfere with the AAL, before removing the stock center pin will prevent the misalignment from happening.
