So I did the Dirt Devil today with a couple other guys, and it was a great time. It was probably 70ish % dirt roads with some pavement thrown in here and there. There were several creek crossings as well. It made for a full day of riding around in some beautiful scenery, about 6-7 hours of driving total, with stops thrown in along the way.

Easily done in a stock truck, and well worth the $20 map price.

Trails not to far from me. Been wanting to try it out. How well do you think a 2wd would do out there?

Perfectly fine. You could probably do all of it in a Camry if you wanted to. It is a scenic drive, with zero difficulty.

Awesome. Couldn't find to much info on the trail so I was kinda hoping someone on here would do it.

Check out the official TN thread too. We'd like to have another PreRunner to pick on. ;)

There are some guys from Expo Portal going out there on Saturday. I haven't decided if I'm going yet or not though.

Well that doesn't sound like it sucks too bad. I'm sure I'll go again at some point, it makes for a pretty nice drive.

Did you guys do the loop south of Leipers Fork that has the nice side trail along the river into a fun hill climb?

    Killer overview at the top

Thanks. I really didn't know what to expect with the two-tone bumper, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. It gets lots of compliments, and I plan on doing something similar with a rear HC in the fall.

Forget which road but it was out near Santa Fe.

Buddy had the map and we did the southern leg of the Devil starting west of Leipers Fork in Boston

I've been looking for a trail system like this.....About 90% of the people I wheel with regularly are stock or very near stock. Mine is actually the most modded one of the bunch with a 2-1/2" lift and 265/75's.... Most are older guys like myself, and don't have the "balls to the wall" attitude going on any more. In my case, I've been off roading for more than 40 years, killed more'n one truck, and just don't want to be crawling around on the driveway, fixing shit all the time. So...we prefer a milder, kinder, gentler trail. With all that in mind, I'm going to try to get a group together late summer/early fall and make a road trip. Dirt Devil looks like it may be just what the doctor ordered. We're doing Harlan in late October...Did so last fall, and plan on making that a yearly trip. The group I'd like to take to Dirt devil is several disabled vets, a couple guys in VERY stock SUV's (A Range Rover, Jeep Liberty, etc...) This looks like enough of a challenge to satisfy them. I may be picking your brain on Dirt Devil if I can muster up the troops and get a trip planned.

BTW, I saw a few pictures of your truck on the "Badass Tacoma" thread.....Really good pics of a clean truck in well lighted conditions. Your truck looks incredible! Very nice details. I especially like the color matched winch bumper.
