Check Engine light and skid mark light is on

    2009 Tacoma TRD 198 k on it all hwy miles the engine light came on the other day also this site which is a skid mark and a car never seen it anyone knows what this is?

    Skid mark and a car, do you mean the traction control light? Can you post a pic?

    Its impossible to know what the check engine light is for without more information, is the truck making any weird noises? Hard to start? There are a million different codes that could cause a check engine light. If you take it to your local auto parts store they will usually pull the code for you, if you can find out what the code is and post it here it will really help us narrow it down.
