I don't exactly know where I'm going with this thread but I figured I'll give it a good try. It'll be slow and probably have a bunch of stuff that doesn't have to do with what actually gets done to the truck but a lot of it will be what I do and see in it.

    THE START
I came home from a weekend of hunting bear on the mountain to find this in my garage. My first vehicle.

    August 2014

    image.jpgimage.jpg

My parent bought and surprised me with it, I help make the payments on it.

    WHATS HAPPENED
So I pretty much drove it around like it was for about a year, then me and my dad decided to replace the shocks and struts, went the cheap route and bought the replacement from autozone. Don't really have any pictures of that.

    THE WRECK....
Probably shouldn't include this but oh well, you can fight me.

Middle of the winter on December 23, 2014 I was coming down the mountain after a snow storm, came around a corner to see a snow plow BACKING it's way UP the mountain on the left hand side of the road, hit the brakes and slide into the back of the plow. Put a pretty good dent in the bed but it was probably better than going of the road. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
The insurance company fixed it up and I learned a couple things, which is good, right.

    BACK TO THE
    PRESENTISH TIME

Fall of 2015, I mowed my uncles shop, house and rentals lawn pretty much all summer, didn't really get paid but didn't say anything cause I'm respectful I guess. I also packed out his deer after he shot it on top of a mountain.
    image.jpg

This is related to my truck because he ended up buying me a set of new leafsprings, which I don't have any pictures of I don't think either.

Drove around like that all the way through the winter, no wrecks this time. Then close to the end of March I found a used set of King Coilovers on Craigs List for 600$, talk him down to 450$ and went and picked them up. Had them recharged, check every shop in town, only found one that actually knew what I was talking about.
    image.jpg

Started putting them on at like 3:30 pm and didn't get them finished till about 1 am that morning. It took us forever to adjust the coil collar to that yellow line you see.
    image.jpg
I really needed to replace them, the bushings were pretty sad. image.jpg

And that's pretty much all I've done so far besides some minor paint/ plastidip.

Pretty much got the bumper done, just need to bend and weld some tubing, paint and blinkers.
    image.jpg
    image.jpg

Picked up leaf springs 7/20/16, just need to order some shocks.
    image.jpg

    UPDATE 09/19/16
It's been awhile since I updated, really just been lazy more or less.

Got the springs and shocks on. I measured the beginning and end, hub to fender.

The start was 20" on both sides and the end was 26", I don't know what the real stock measurement is and I think my springs were sagging already. I guess I don't have many pictures.

    Things to come (fingers crossed)
    1. Alcan Leaf springs (DONE)
    2. Sliders
    3. front and rear bumper
    4. Skid plate
    5. New Ucas
    6 retrofit headlights (new headlights)
    7. More lights (DONISH)
    8. Monstaline all the things (done)
    9. Allpro ubolt flip (maybe)

    FUTURE PLANS:
    Long travel the front
    Mid travel rear

I know some of you have seen this shiz but now I'll just post it all here instead of bombing other threads.
Thanks for Reading my unprofessional thread.

Well springs have been ordered. Gonna be a long 4 week wait... Just enough time to decide on and save up for some shocks.

I don't know if by "got it good" you mean everything handed to me or yes I get help now and again, but it's definitely the second one, in my opinion anyway.

Looks good man. One thing- never use a chain for recovery. Look into a strap without metal hooks.
