@jbrnigan Why do you need to get it? Do his mods have to satisfy you? Bottom line is its his truck he can mod it as he pleases even if you dont "get it". You added zero value to this thread!

yeah MOST ppl do mods for a reason not on a whim! mods serve different purposes depending on several factors eg what terrain you drive thru, what u tow, distance u drive, what weight u carry in tray etc.:argue:

Unlike your lame response, the OP took the time to explain it to me, and now I do "get it".

I did the 2" OME as well. Immediately I started having needle bearing problems and will be getting that dealt with sooner than later.

FWIW I would not add another CB spacer. I skipped the CB and used 3 degree axle shims to tilt the rear diff up to meet the drive shaft at an angle closer to what it was at stock height. I have no driveline vibrations (other than the needle bearing thing which is unrelated). Do the needle bearing first. If you still have problems remove the cb drop. If you still have problems try the shims.

i finally got the ECGS bearing installed, vibrations 20-40 mph gone, but now i have a slight vibrations when coming to a stop from 30 - 0 mph, not too bad, is this on the drive line, maybe add a CB spacer or delete CB spacer, 3 degree axle shims? how are axle shims installed?
sorry not too familiar with shims etc.....

    update:
I still have a slight vibration at 20mph

i tried removing the spacer under CB, but once in 4wd mode, too much vibrations, so definitely need a spacer, i tried adding additional spacer, feels the same , but with spacer 4wd mode is fine.

I may have to result in shims for the rear diff, i am not too familiar with shims, i have been reading a lot of info in this forum

I will try the measure the degree of the drive shafts and try adding spacers on CB route first

what kind of shim or degree of shim are recommended?
are they all similar or is there a specific shim for the 2nd gen tacoma?

i have a question for the pros

I flipped the CB, less vibes but still has a bit of vibe from 0-20mph .... aside from this vibe it runs smooth.
Can flipping the CB cause u joint damage?
If I reverse the CB and just place a cb drop kit, it vibrates 0-20mph and 20-0 mph, but is it safer for the u joints?

what is best solution for a complete vibe free drive line? does it need a shim under rear leaf springs?
