check your corner lamps next to your headlights. the wires running through the fenders might have rubbed through. iirc your corrner lamps are on the same running lamp circuit.

The issue with the trailer adapter harness was an internal to the unit issue. Looking at it isn't a way to tell. Disconnect the adapter. I'm most inclined to say that is where your problem is.

well, the last 2 posters were 100% correct. i did not see an adapter or i would have disconnected it myself, but it turned out the trailer hitch wiring harness was the culprit. toyota charged me 1 hour @$90. they just disconnected it as it was an aftermarket hitch.

    thanks for all your replies.

Replace tweeters for Subaru plug n play kickers. Also replace front and back speakers with kickers. Added a Kenwood KSC-PSW8 250W Max (150W RMS) Single 8" Under Seat Powered Subwoofer Enclosure W/Remote Control. I went with Kenwood because it’s the same as JVC but cheaper.K&N reusable filters for engine & cabin
Had same problem. I check trailer hitch harness unplugg it and it work. After one of my fuses went out and had no power in the interior lights but I replace fuse after in the hood box in front and everything was back to normal all lights working
