What did you do with the inside plastic wheel well liner? did you trim it back to the bumper or completely remove it? If you trimmed it back how did you attach it to the bumper so it doesn't flap around? or ???
    Thx!

I cut it high enough so that it didn't have any slop to flap around, but still stops mud from flying up in the wheel well.

ARE Shell. Pelfreybilt front bumper. hi-clearance rear bumper w/swing out. Rigid light bar/fog lights/reverse lights. Pelfreybilt front skid. Home/hand made slidders. DR front coilovers. Camburg UCA. AllPro Expedition leaf pack w/u-bolt flip and Timbren bump stops. 285 70-17 on stock rims with Spider Trax wheel spacers. EBC slotted/drilled rotors with green pads.
IMAG1479.jpg Took about 2 hrs of staring at the tape and measuring the line about 20 times to finally get the courage to just cut it.
    The cut went easy though.

Was it hard to take the measurements from the top of the bed with the topper on?

Any suggestions on fixing a lopsided gap?

I have about 1/4" between body and bumper on the passenger side, it's perfect. The driver's side is at 1/4" at the taillight and angles downward to have about 1 1/4" at the forwardmost edge of the bumper at the wheel well.

Yes my cuts are exact. Both sides measure 16.75" from the lip for the whole length of the cut.
