    Yes, that's the dilemma. I want a C and I want a 275 KO2. Both of which I can't have.

Good catch. I didn't notice you had a second gen. Never mind what I said as I have a 3rd gen.

I don't know why BFG does not make the 275/70/17 in a C load. I want the 275 but not in E load, Anyone had both on the same truck and can give some input as to the difference in ride quality for on road driving. Seems over kill to have E load on a Tacoma. C vs E load KO2 tire.

Well...I agree with the weight and loss of power so I have the 265s C being put on as we speak.

Felt minimal rubbing when backing up over a good size bump at full tilt, so I took the mud guard off until I adjust the coil over just a bit more.

I have the TRD Pro rims with the 275/70 KO2 and there is some rubbing with the mud flap on one side when fully tilted. I don't want to take the mud flaps of and was thinking maybe I could mould it with a heat gun or just trim trim it. What do you guys think?. Any ideas?.

This is what I think I will do...
    Look at this on eBay:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/201475180956

2016+ Toyota Tacoma Mud Flaps, ROKBLOKZ no drilling, NO RUBBING with 35" tires!

They have two sizes, my guess is the standard will be perfect for our size.

I need help from the fellow 275/70R17 users in SoCal, I am looking to buy one (1) 275/70R17 AT tire a BFG KO2 would be preferred, used is fine as long as the tire is in good condition. Thx!

Tirerack.com has this same price so I had Discount Tire match price last week. They recommended I have them rebuild the TPMS sensors when they mount them on my new wheels...sounds like BS as these are brand new TPMS on a brand new truck. They said when they remove all the current stock tire air it may damage the sensors...what does everyone think - bogus? I think I remember others here using the original sensors. If some don't work on the remount I could have them replaced then but wondered what the crew here thinks...install won't be for a few weeks.

When they say rebuild the TPMS, I think they're talking about the gasket/seal. I think a lot of places do that because of the chance that they get damaged during the removal of the old tire, and leak. The rebuild kit is usually $4 or $5 per tire.

Not in this case, I asked exactly what they rebuild and the tech said they replace the sensor inside the unit with no other changes, unless he was clueless which could be the case. It was Discount and not a mechanic.

Correct me if I'm wrong, would'nt less caster help with the tire rubbing in the back of the fender well? You went with more caster, so was it rubbing in the front on yours? Reason I ask is because my 275's rub when I hit a bump, and I'd like to tell my alignment guy some numbers to go with. Thanks!
