Dashey bezel removal

    Can someone please explain how to remove the left and right side dash bezels without damaging them?

    Yea there are just clips that hold it in. Use a non marring pry tool or something similar if you don't want to scratch anything if you can't pull them off by hand

    Yep just grab and pull, easy peasy. Be forceful but gentle and they come right off.

    I just did it by hand.
    Remove the right side first and then the left part.

    yup. pull with hands and don't pry with tools (you might scratch things). I've popped mine off and replaced with a different color.

    air conditioner parts will come off with bezel...but screws on back side will release the parts seperately

    Thanks, pulled a little harder and they came right off. Now they almost match my red glove box letters.

    The ones I want to remove are the silver/gray piece around the climate controls and the silver/gray piece around the gear changer. Any ideas? Another member told me that to remove the climate control one he had to remove the stereo and get at it from behind.

    I painted it whit black plasti dip first ! After i painted it whit white toyota code paint like de outside off the tacoma!! I will be able to remove it later if a want because off the plasti dip under !!
