Last time I checked, no Parts Department Counter sales guy ever wanted to help out a sales person...

The sales guys are always asking for freebies to hook a sale while the Parts guy gets screwed on gp for the sale. Its usually a parts guy saying "oh you can help us sell a lot more parts at a lower profit margin? I'll believe it when I see it." And within a week a sale is never produced and the conversation is logged as another salesman exercise in hot air expulsion.
