Zep brand spray odor remover from Home Depot. It's not an exact match, but it's got just enough of a chemical scent to it to almost fool you. And it doesn't smell like anything else on the planet. Best solution I've found.

Or Febreez spray in a pinch.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It's important to note that nothing really can mimic "new car smell" because it's such a flurry of different scents. It's glues and conditioners, plastisizers, all kinds of different materials off-gassing in an enclosed space.

It's actually quite bad for you.

It's just raising a much larger question and not considering way too many factors, is all.

I can think of another scent that I like. I wonder if it is available too? :D

I don't know about 2nd or 3rd gens, but 1st gen Tacomas have an unmistakable scent in the cab that I effing love, and it never goes away. Especially if I don't drive it for a day, when I get in....boioioinnng.

I'd like to find something that can bring back my new car smell too, even if it is just a slight amount.
Between my job (paper mill) and Christy's pizza it smells like rotten eggs and sulfur. I think I'll try that Zep brand mentioned because I've never heard of it.

I've got the Zep now. It's not quite "new car", but it's a different enough smell that it kinda fools you. And it's effective.

Oh I agree. I believe the smell sticks in my cabin filter though. I normally don't use my a/c because I'm used to the heat. It normally runs 120 degrees in the mill so 90 outside feels great to me. So when I do run the a/c or heat I get a god awful smell that fills the truck for a while.

The smell will get even better soon. We are switching the boilers to natural gas Vs burning tires and stuff.

ozone generator will give it a neutral smell. i have my own little machine that will run for 2 hours then turn off. then air it out for 20-30 minutes and im satisfied.

absolutely do not sit in the vehicle if its on or recently ran without airing it out

Smell completely gone when I started letting my dog inside the cab :( I'm going to shampoo everything (and I mean everything) once this nasty humidity goes away.

But man I miss this smell so much.

I wait for the new car smell to fade. Then I put lemon scented air fresheners. Smells like Pledge in my truck, and I love every minute of it.

    Si, Si.

I actually know its time for a wash when my air freshener dies. Usually last about 2-3 weeks.
