does anyone know how to tighten the ebrake on an 08+ accord

 

We have one of these at my work. This will tighten it right up!

 

not on my car, but i'd love to watch that some day haha

If it's anything like the GF's parent's '10, you should be able to pop the trim off behind the lever. There's an adjusting nut in there. I had to do theirs a couple of years ago. Took me about 20 minutes to figure out how to get in there, but after that it was a 5 minute job.

bmw's are easy. you just pull up the shift boot and the screws are right there

 

My '84's easier; it's a foot pedal with the adjusting bolt right on the end of it.

wellllll i am pretty influential around these parts. i'm a pretty big deal....

 

Hmmm, that looks to me like a silk screen printed panel. I don't think there is too much I could do that wouldn't actually take away value from that machine. It would probably be worth more with the patina its got than if I tried to paint it or touch it up with an acrylic paint.
