Snap buttons. Many improvements in doing the other side, may redo that one.

Finished the window coverings for my shell. 2nd one is a big improvement over the first one. May have to redo the first one, I think I have enough of everything left to do it.

The conversion is complete, my wife is officially a Toyota gal now... I think I'll keep her.

She had a Ford Flex that with 124k miles was starting to give us mechanical headaches and we were scared she would be left on the side of the road (with the kids, on a 100+ degree day... it HAS happened).

Backstore complete, we decided to get something cheaper on the insurance and registration, but it still had to be capable of hauling all 5 of us (plus the dog). Being able to go camping with, was a bonus. This lead me to start looking into old 4Runners, we found a few in our price range and started to look. I found this one, a 1997 4Runner SR5 V6 2wd Auto. It is clean! Seriously, no tares in the leather. It does still have a few things I need to fix up, but I am not sure I would want it any other way. Wife is happy, I am happy.

We took he Flex to CarMax to test their "We will buy anything" claim... they bought it for a lot more than I thought they would. It is gone.

    Mods:
WeatherTech all around (I have 3 kids and a dog)
Wet Okele seat covers (see above)
    Inverter
    LED interior bulbs
    Debadge (they are faded gold)
    All the time 12v plugs
    Cell phone holder
    Add Cruise Control (if possible)
    Tint

    Maintenance items:
Timing belt Kit (ordering one for truck too)
    Radio antenna
    Oil Change
    Replace rear cup holder
Head light switch comes off (still works) need to glue it or replace it.
Sunroof doesn't close properly. It cycles through all the right spots, just miss aligned.

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

P.S. I did order parts for the Taco, took advantage of a few Memorial Day Sales. Pics and info as they arrive.

The number of boxes that have arrived today is crazy, but I am still waiting on the UPS guy (he is always the last to arrive).

4Runner received new struts for rear hatch, front & rear wiper blades, LED dome/map lights, Ram mount X-grip and arm (for her iPhone), and a Panavise to mount the Ram mount. I swung by Camelback Toyota and got a new Antenna base and Antenna; it has the electric version and that wasn't working.

Had an alarm with remote start installed.

For the Taco I got a Panavise mount, I think a Ram mount will be coming. Plus I got a Koozie. Pic in a minute.

For the Chipskip I got new work boots.

Well, I did get a few things done to the T4R yesterday.

-Adjusted the moonroof, it nows has a good seal.

    -Installed weathertech side window deflectors.
    image.jpg

-Installed Panavise and ram mount for her phone.
    image.jpg

-Ordered a few dash bulbs (maybe one or two for the Taco too).

-Order a Toyota Repair Manual. Seriously, I love the one for my Tac. If you don't have one for your vehicle, it is worth the $$$.

    Edit for pics

    New headlights!

Nothing face, just direct replacements from RockAuto, but as you can see, I will be able to see again. I had tried the kits to clean them up, but they never worked very well.

Also, used a little RTV Black to seal in the strobe lights.

WeatherTech floor mats came in for the T4R2, so the old ones got moved to my truck. It was an improvement over what I had. I don't mind that they are tan. I didn't have anything in the rear, so this should really help with the kids.

Figured out the moonroof and got it adjusted, so that is all good.

Still waiting on the seat covers.

Also ordered several components to hopefully add cruise control. Waiting on the service manual to see if I am going to need anything else.

Today I finally had time to install my AP Expo leaf Springs & Wheeler's SuperBumps. I also removed the 2" Toytoc shackles and but the stock shackles back on.

Now I am ready for my rear bumper to arrive.

That looks sharp! I'm also a fan of dash mat. Very nice interior upgrades for her 4runner. :)

EDIT: Just showed the pic to my family. They all love the purple! :D
