Hey everyone. I've been reading forums here for a while now and finally decided to make an account!

My rig is a 4 cylinder 2000 sr5 tacoma. She's got 347k miles on her still with original clutch and tranny. I've had to replace the radiator, starter, water pump, tie rods, and a ball joint.
Other than that I have after market tires 31s and a beautiful set of wheels I scored off of a totaled tacoma. She's all stock after that.

I want to put a suspension lift on my truck for more clearance as I do a lot of back road adventuring. First gen tacomas look bad ass with lifts as well.

Just wondering if you guys think shes got too many miles on her to start putting money into? She works awesome but sometimes my shifter gets stuck in nuetral so I may be having to replace the clutch soon but I'm not sure yet. Has anyone else had that same problem?

Only you know what your working with .

These trucks are a labor of love you never get your money out of them.

As long as you can do the work why not

Blows my mind how many miles some people get out of these clutches. I haven't had to change one yet on my taco but on my last car (Scion tC) I had to replace the clutch at 100k
