noticed today that my engine coolant reservoir is just below the low /min line....does this mean I have a leak somewhere or can this stuff just evap over time....it's an 09 and I've never filled the reservoir. Also will any old run of the mill engine coolant work?

Normal for some to "evaporate" over time.
Mine also fell just below the low level last year.
I also never added any coolant to until that point.
So far, over 1 year later. Mine is still at the full level.
    I calling it normal.

I used OEM Toyota Long Life. The pink stuff.
I don't recommend mixing coolant. Not unless you have no other choice.

I am looking for a leak I just fell below the low marker so I filled it to full today using the pink stuff. Looked all around my water pump and I can't find a leak. One bolt looks like it has changed in cope a bit but no built up. I read somewhere a little lose is normal so I am going to watch it for now and hope it doesn't leave me stranded in the woods someplace.
