Having an issue with my passenger tail light. The brake light is out. Now all bulbs are good, fuses are good, and the rest of the tail light works. I barely clipped a small tree off roading but didn't break anything. Any suggestions. They are about $100 lights so I am not opposed to replacing, but it seems like maybe it is something else other than the light.

Check for a loose wire or a bad ground.

Do you know how to use a multimeter? I've never worked on the Tacoma taillights but if it's like (virtually) every other vehicle I'd just pull the taillight and take measurements. Visual inspection may be all that's needed.
