Well I'm fixing to attempt to replace my egr vacuum switching valve on my 2.7 liter Tacoma to fix the po402 code. It's a tight fit under that intake plenum. If anybody has any advice on how to make this easier and the best way to do it, I could really use the help! Thanks for any suggestions!

When I had to trouble-shoot my EGR system, I looked at that damn VSV and thought, "I sure hope its not that". Everything, other than that, is easy to get at.

My problem turned out to be the EGR temp sensor :D . I suggest you to test ( and eliminate ) everything else as a possible culprit, before tackling the VSV.
