Can't afford to purchase everything I would like for the new Tacoma at one time. So, I'm getting tires and front skid for now. In the unlikely(?) event that a high profile skid plate manufacture would go out of business would one makers skids be compatible with other manufacturers?

    A few things
simple answer is no. But I, as well as at least one other that I've read about, made a all pro ifs skid, relentless transmission skid and an all pro transfer case skid work together. It required drilling some bolt holes and finessing some different angles. Which ifs skid were you looking at?

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Most likely you wil need to do some work to them but I made my ATO front skid work with Relentless transmission and transfer case skid with very little modification.
