Hey everyone. I have a 3rd gen 4x4 sport. Planning on adding an arb air locker in the future but for now would like a compressor to be able to air down anywhere. Would I still be able to connect an air locker to a viair? Have an opportunity to snag one at a steal and don't know if I should if I won't work with the air locker.
    Thanks!

    Here's mine 3rd gen.

Dang that orange paint sure looks sexy.

In all honesty: without the exact model of Viair nobody can answer accurately. You'd need to either rig up some kind of setup to a tank most likely.

Just installed ARB CKMA12 this for @MADSTEEZE on his 2016 4X4 with air hose attachment in the bed storage compartment. Compressor works with for two lockers and air for tires. Made a custom mounting plate and it fits perfect in the room given. I believe the Viair should work with the locker however the wiring harness with the ARB is complete and works seamlessly with the locker. In my opinion go with the ARB.

Thank you! I will try to post more pics later. We may offer an air compressor and mounting plate kit if there is enough interest. Please PM me if anyone wants this so we can gauge interest and possibly offer the goods to everyone. This kit will also work in a 2nd Gen. This will only work with Auto Trans and Non ATRAC trucks.

I was talking to madsteeze a couple
Days ago. I actually ordered that same compressor. Do you have a mount available already or something you would have to fab? My compressor comes in next week and would like to install it sooner rather than later. Are you installing his locker as well?

He did the fab work for the plate while I was there. Really quick! So I'd assume that he could get it out to you quickly. We went over all of the possible mounting options and feel confidant with what we decided. I expressed my main priority being that it would hold up to wheeling. Ain't no mall crawler! I'm happy with the results. Excited to get the locker installed on Thursday!:bananadance:

I know it's unrelated, but that is a beautiful truck mate. What lift is on it?

Could you fab another one of these mounts?

    The cubby in the bed?

If so, I believe it's possible to make it work, but I'm sure that you would have to do some serious surgery in the cubby to make sure you've got room for the pump up kit and locker solenoid.

If you mean behind the seat, I'm sure it would fit there. I just didn't want it inside the cab.

I don't want it inside the cab either. I was thinking about the cubby. But now thinking that if I'll need to cut the cubby, it wouldn't offer much protection from mud or water, also that's where I have my diff breather. Lol. So I'll definitely need one of those brackets. I'll just play it safe and put it in the engine bay. Hopefully @Yotamac can get one of these shipped to me.

I could be wrong, so definitely check when you get it. The compressor mount moves around and allows different placement, but you can see the pump kit connections sticking up. The locker is connected right next to that.

So I think the spot we chose is possibly the best location for it.

Cool. If you end up getting in contact with him again for the locker (not sure if he's installing it or not) ask him about the mount lol. As you can tell, I'm a bit anxious to get it all done as well lol.

    He's not installing the locker.

I'll text him now though about the mount!
