With a sports car back in my stable soon the truck will be getting parked outside from now on. Nearly 100% of the time that's just fine. My neighborhood is gated and I'm not worried about anything except hail damage. For those who don't live in an area that gets hail, just imagine millions of actual golf balls falling from the stratosphere....onto your truck.

I'd like to get a car/truck cover for my Tacoma that would provide some level of hail protection. Are you guys familiar with anything like that and know which ones I should be looking at? Not too worried about the price since if it saves me from meeting ONE of my insurance deductibles it has paid for itself. ;)

Yeah I've seen that one too but I'm not sold on it. I'm hoping for something more traditional that I could just put on and leave it on if I didn't want to drive the truck for a few days (highly possible). I'd hate for my neighbors to think my truck was in quarantine.

it's great when a hailstorm rolls through. money for mods. there is nothing that says you need to fix the hail immediately.

this may be a little over the top for you and the cost is around $1500.00 called a car capsule ,saw it on Sam's garage few days ago, but looks a damn sight better than that oven mitt.

I bet you could get some of those heavy duty moving blankets at harbor fright. There pretty thick. I use one to cover a shooting bench when I go to the range and it works well.
