I am in the process of installing fog lights on my 2008 Tacoma. It is pre-wired for fog lights but the switch that came with the kit does not fit the plug that was factory wired. I attached a picture of the two plugs. The green one fits the switch which is significantly narrower than the one already wired.

Exploring my options from here seems like I can ...

    1. Cut and tape plug from kit to wiring already there.
    2. By new switch ??
    3. Just run the wiring from the kit.

In my search of fog light switches prices vary greatly and specs are vague.

    Anybody come across this issue?

Factory switch! Will plug right in there and work. I have a used one that I would be happy to sell if you are interested. BTW, its the black one that goes into the factory fog light.
