speakers are harder to install than i thought.

haha, well the speakers themselves werent that bad, the major hold up was disconnecting the freaking plugs! That alone took a lot of time and frustration but I got all of the doors except the driver side door unpluged.

A little advice for others...

When you get the door panel off and only connected by te wires, try rotating the pannel so the plugs are facing upward. That technique helped a lot.

 

I have so much damn trouble removing harnesses. I did the DTRL mod and had to remove a bunch of plugs from the fuse box inside the dash. That was such a bitch.

Some you squeeze the top/bottom, others the sides, others you have to push in a tab, MAKE THEM ALL THE SAME!

 

seriously.

And use the buddy system, it made things easier.

 

technique that I found that works on the front and rear doors of a 2007 dc. before you remove the panels, take a small screw driver for flat pry tool, and very carefully remove the power window controls. Pry from the front up, it just snaps in. Disconect the harness and then remove the panel, way more simple.

 

Ya i was trying that on the front drivers door forever, but i gave up and just had someone hold the pannel in place while i did the work.
