Questions for those that have purchased my glove box and/or door sill protector decals

I am working on another product idea but need some input from those that have purchased my glove box and door sill protector decals.

I know that my light brown vinyl is a bit darker that the quicksand paint, but how close are the Azure Blue (BBP), Red (BRM), and Red Orange (Inferno) vinyl colors to the real paint colors? For instance, if a decal was applied on or directly adjacent to the corresponding paint color, would the difference in color be very noticeable?

Also, are the BBP and Inferno paint metallic?

the red seems a bit orange-ish. really orange, almost Inferno in the sun.

 

Yes BBP has metallic flakes in it. And your blue is a couple shade lighter than BBP. Not an expert but more navy blue by a bit would be closer.

 

Is there any tone of silver/gunmetal color that matches the interior plastic trim/garnish?

If the quicksand was exact I would have bought the glovebox letters when I got my black reflective tailgate letters, which arrived yesterday so thanks! But don't have time till Wed to put them on

Do you have something to match the Silver?

Would like Tailgate, Glove Box, and 4 Sills..

 

My silver grey metallic vinyl is about as close as you can get to the silver grey dash bezel.

 

Hey Rick.. I've got all the goodies from you... (T/G/,door sills,/glove box)..The colour match is fantastic with the Inferno... The decals went on easily and look VERY good...

Have yet to see them at night on the T/G... (Reflective letters)

Thanks, but I wish it's a little darker grey-ish to match the bezel. Otherwise, I wish I could remove all the trim bezel to paint them quicksand, and it would match with the quicksand vinyl.

 

Orocal 951 silver metallic that is slightly darker than my silver grey metallic 751 vinyl. I will let you know if/when I get that in stock.

 

Let me know when and I'll take one. It would be a much better match since it's interior!

 

I am continually searching for new vinyl colors that more closely match the paint colors on the 3rd gens. Most vinyl is prone to more pronounced color changes between sunlight and shadow, and reds are rarely reproduced accurately in photos. For now, the red that I am stocking is very close to the BRM and I do have the door sill protector decals (see my signature below).

If/when I find a closer match to the red I will post it to my store. BTW, I have the red on my MGM and really like how it pops and contrasts to the darker paint color.

 

Yes, I include details instructions with them. Use plenty of the soap solution and just nudge them into place. They will fit perfectly inside the outlined letters on the protectors. Before pressing them down, you will want to dab away some of the water to see the outlined letters more clearly and make final adjustments. Once you are happy with the placement, press down on the decal (it will be difficult to move after that) and then dab away the remaining moisture.

 

My 3rd gen DSPs were delivered with them already installed but I did install them on my 2nd gen. They were very easy to install since they are simply thick plastic stickers. You simply align them with the rubber door seal, lay it down, and press.

I now have charcoal metallic vinyl, which is very, very close to MGM. Please let me know which product you are interested in purchasing.

Here is the charcoal metallic (MGM) side marker decal. This color is hardly noticeable on the glove box decals and very subtle (bit still visible) on the door sill protectors. Which product are you interest in purchasing?
