What oil is suitable for manual transmission?

    2016 Tacoma TRD Off Road (Manual), 2004 4RUNNER V6 4x4
    The manual calls for
    $30 75w-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)
    75w-90 GL3 (GL4) gear oil.

    I'm on a road trip and having issues with my transmission sticking in gear. The local dealer couldn't duplicate the issue since it takes hours on the highway to start acting up.

    I'm thinking of swapping out the fluid before I continue on my trip, but wanted to make sure I use the right stuff. Does it matter whether it limited slip stuff or not?

    Has anyone changed theirs yet?
