Hey guys. Still here in Ringgold. Going to UTC almost every day. I'm getting tired of school. Anyway...

I'm still deciding what lift/tire combo to go with...so many choices. I was thinking 3" lift using OME 887/Dakkar leaves with 16" Method Standards and 285/75's. But I tow a 17' camper and I'm worried it'll be too gutless to tow without a regear. I was considering 265/75's but think they might look funny.

    Thoughts?

I have OME front and back and love it. I do not tow anything so I can not help you with that.

265/75/16s won't look funny. I've seen a lot with 265s so they don't rub and they don't look bad.

Cool thanks guys. I actually meant to type Method NV's (black of course) instead of Standards...not that it really mattered. I've heard nothing but great things about OME and the dakkar springs will be much better for load carrying than the 3 leaf TRD OR's it has now. Also thinking Total Chaos UCA's. Later on some Pelfreybilt sliders and bumpers, but that won't be for a while most likely. I'll throw up some pics when I put the suspension on, but that probably won't be for a few months.

As far as tires...yeah 265's would probably be the sensible choice. My wife is pretty set on 285's though, haha. I guess I can always regear later if it's an issue. I don't know. I'll just have to think about it some more. Thanks for the opinions. Always appreciated.

I'd also be pretty stoked to go out and do some trails in the area so if there are any trips planned around here please let me know. Prentice Cooper left a bad impression on me though. Got turned around on a trail in a storm (maybe because of an old trail map we had, pulled it off the internet to just do a quick loop to check it out...visibility sucked too) and wound up not getting out until after dark. Got stopped by a game warden named Clint Smith and he was a total ass to me and my family. I tried to calmly explain the situation and he was downright belligerent with me. Total ass. I still get angry when I think of it. I emailed his supervisor but I don't think anything came of it. Anyway. Yeah my one and only experience there was not the greatest.

I'm up for meeting one day, when its gonna be nice and warm outside, and going up to Prentice Cooper if you want to try it again. Haha

Yeah we can do something like that for sure.

How'd you like AOP? We had a meet there close to the end of last year. Damn place is rocky though lol.

Best part of the park is the "race track." I was going to stop by on my way home from LBL but it was real late and figured you all were passed out.
