And like I said, nothing wrong with not wanting any damage, especially mechanical damage! And nothing wrong with no experience! That would be the whole point of the trip! To teach and gain experience!

ETA: I can especially understand considering you've got a brand new truck!

Hahaha, not even meaning to! Just how I am though! Always down to meet new people, get people into the sport, teach, and of course, have a good time!

Hey guys I need your help! I'm headed down to Florida from Northern Virginia on Thursday and was planning on camping out in Georgia Thursday night and head to the panhandle of Florida Friday morning. By doing some quick online searches I found 2 camp sites/ trails in wma land. One is altamaha and the other was clay hole. I'd prefer 4wd light- moderate trails to have a little fun down in GA. I'm visting family in Savannah Thursday so I wanted to be within an hour or 2 max from there down I95 or westward towards the panhandle. Any tips would help!

    Thanks in advance.

Is Tray mountain something that a prerunner could do?

Yeah Ive got a prerunner and have done it twice, its a fun trail. Little short of notice but if you or anyone else wants I would be up for driving up there Saturday night to camp and wheeling Sunday, maybe even camp Sunday night as well and wheel Monday, if anyone else has Mondays off. @The Tarvis @BYJOSHCOOK either of yall free this weekend?

Ive got a stove and some cooking gear, mainly youd need a tent and sleeping bag, $100 at walmart maybe.

Who else is interested in camping at Tray Sat 11th night and wheeling Sun 12th? Or if youd want just drive up early Sunday and meet at the camp site around 9:30. We would likely have enough time to do a second trail as well. Charlies Creek was fun.
I would be more comfortable with a 4x4 coming.

Any other weekend and I would be game (no pun intended) for a trail / camping weekend meet n greet, but can't make it this weekend. We should plan something several weeks out and see how many people we could get on board. One note - my truck is a TRD 4x4 Sport but is all stock when it comes to tires and suspension, so I'm not ready for anything too tough.

Yeah, I know. Sorry if I wasn't clear; next weekend my wife and I are headed up to Nashville for my birthday. I will be in the truck though so depending on the timing I might still swing by on the way up or back.
