Possible Rim Swap, 2001 to 2013

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie to the forum.

I drive a 2013 4WD SR5 and I'm on the hunt for winter rims / tires. I've found a set that came off a 2001 Tacoma. However, I'm not sure if the rims will fit my 2013 (the seller is an hour away).

My Tacoma rims / tires are 245 75 16. The rims / tires I'm looking at are 265 70 16. I've been Googling and am concerned about a possible difference in the center bore. Conflicting results.

The rims I found are similar to these.

I do not know the answer but you may want to scroll through the wheel/tire section here on Tacomaworld.

 

Center bore should be fine but I would be more concerned with the backspacing. Maybe seller can take some measurements before you drive an hour?

 

Looks like you're right that the backspacing is different. I did a little Googling and found this chart:

About half way down the chart, it lists backspacing for 'Toyota Vehicles'. It says a 1995.5-2004 is 4.54" while 2005-2014 is 5.5".

Then I found this handy, dandy diagram (to make sure I'm clear on what exactly backspacing is).
