    Stock

Staying stock for quite awhile. I'm getting out of the Navy in 2 months so I took a loan out on the truck. I figure it's smarter to take the loan and keep my savings well stocked rather than paying cash, not having a loan but also setting myself up for failure financially in case I don't find a job soon enough. So I'm pretty much just leaving it stock until I'm established again. I have my eyes out for a leveling kit, but that's probably going to be it for a little bit.

Here's what happened to mod days:
    - Only a few of us hosted them (You, StanDrew, Loco and myself)...
    - You moved away, Loco and I got burnt out on it and StanDrew still tries.

Yes, there was a small "clique" formed of the more experienced wheelers and wrenchers, who have all become great friends and we trust each other to work on our trucks.

This is also the reason this forum died - the core members moved to other comms.

Big reasons why I quit hosting mod days: No offense to others here and the new guys who are clue free about wrenching and mods. I'm sure most old timers noticed myself and others never worked on our trucks during mod days -- because I don't trust everyone else's quality of work. Also, I enjoy helping others and teaching but in that effort I often found myself doing a majority of the work - my fault for not stepping back and taking a chair.

Should have taken my lead. That is why I stopped doing them. I love my chair...and beer. Did I mention I love and miss beer?

Hey there. Just picked up my 3rd gen this week and parked it in Chesapeake. Looking to put a lift on it here in a month or so. I see lots of Icon and OME enthusiasts on here. Any advice?

Buy one, cry once. A lot of us started with OME/5100 style lifts, and all migrated to Coilovers. So make sure you buy nice shit the first time or you will be buying twice like a lot of us did...
