i had black on my grill sorround initially and saw a post where some one listed the previously mentioned benefits of the glossifier so i tried it on the black. i didn't like it on the black it water spotted and showed wipe marks from washing. it works very nice on the white, so far, like last night i was working on the truck and got dirt and stuff on the grill surround i just sprayed it with a detail spray and took a soft rag and wiped iit off. i know peopole get tired of hearing plast-dip blah blah blah but i've used it as a tool to try different colors to see what i like now i know and can gradually order the parts i want in the color i want. or just leave as is it's cheap and fun to play around with

plasti-dip FTW. So easy and durable when done right.

    Good to know, thanks.

I was thinking the same thing but mine might be too big to fit in there.

That looks pretty sweet. I'd try it myself but I haven't ever done wiring on a vehicle so I'm leery.

What do you charge BattlefieldAuto.com each month to advertise on your truck? I want to reach through my computer screen and take that license plate frame off! You'd gain all kinds of HP without that thing.

That's fair. I had to put a frame on mine too just so it wouldn't bend and it looks more finished with a frame. I got some thin black ones from VatoZone.

This is a cool area. I haven't explored the escalante area, but it is on my list. Our place is right off of 89 before you hit Glendale. Any suggestions on cool exploration areas around that escalante area?

The final set of photos of what I did last week in Southern Utah. This was a Forest Service Road from Highway 89 in Southern Utah near Glendale/Orderville to Highway 14 near Duck Creek Utah. I love this area with the awesome ponderosa pines, pink cliffs, and wide open spaces.

    IMG_20160616_114050922.jpg IMG_20160616_114707404.jpg IMG_20160616_115748232.jpg IMG_20160616_120944820.jpg

Looking for my next trip in the Utah area. I have some time this summer while transitioning into my next work adventure. :) So I plan to get get use of the new (to me) tacoma. Really enjoying it so far. I used to think of an car as an appliance, but after spending some time driving a Jeep and now a Tacoma, it is a lot of fun to have something that can facilitate fun instead of getting to point A to point B, which is usually the office.

Well, just finished repairing the sprinkler system, gonna take another crack at putting the 303 protectant on my plastic parts. My plan is to stay away from the beer fridge today.
