I'm at 80% and my doctors asked if I wanted a handicap plaquered. I looked at him dead serious and said my stupidity is not a handicap so I'm good.

Same here, until I don't have the ability to walk then I won't accept one. How would it look if I come in from surfing then pull into a handicap parking space 5 mins later.

No wet suits waters too nice:D but climbing on your truck to strap a board up would sure set off alarms.

My husband likely qualifies for about 20% from military service. He refuses to apply. (Which I applaud). His VFW post however, brings in people to help with forms and literally use every ounce of possibility to find ways to qualify them for any percentage. It's very discouraging.

Should stop giving out handicap placards to fat people... If anything force them to park on the far end of the lot to encourage more exercise!

This isn't the thread for this talk, and doesn't have anything to do with asshole parking.

    That said...

[SERMON] Your husband needs to get checked and documented now for everything service connected, even if he doesn't need assistance or collect disability. It's not that he needs anything TODAY, but 10, 20, 40 years from now. Ask the Vietnam vets about Agent Orange exposure, or the current (since Desert Storm) burn pit registries. Health issues caused during military service are known to compound and worsen over time, and it's better to be documented and not need services than it is to need help and have to go through the initial claims process when you're hurting. [/SERMON]

Walmart... can't negotiate the curb at the back of the lot.

Light on the roof flashing too. Driver side damaged and rusty. Could make some conjectures about status of the driver who was sitting in it...
