Why are people so confident it's of low quality, built with Chinese steel, and has to be junk without anyone ever so much as seeing one?

I myself am still questioning if it is in some way connected to AllPro. They could never admit to selling their bumper through a different name for a lesser price for risk of loosing a significant portion of their current sales at a higher margin.

    An interesting, possibly related read:

How can you not think of that? That's the only thing I think about when I hear or see anything about All Pro, sadly.

Price just seems on par with my budget which is unusual hence the conspiracy theorists. Perhaps a p o'd employee went a hole?

damn that is a first i heard that about AP at that scale. The only issue ever with ap i had was a minor fitment of one mounting hole not aligning on my front skid that i had to widen myself. I dealt with Relentless too without issue but heard many things.

after reading that debacle between the customer and ap, those guinea pigs are probably getting the same bumper from the cutter that AP sources from. Probably just orders that were extra/canceled or whatever. All i know is if we try to dig deep into this business chain it will only make things more confusing as who does what and who owns what design. Business can be dirty and most of the time it is just a markup and royalty to slap a brand on a product and call it quality.

Personally its the same with garment companies, i buy products from arcteryx knowing it comes from china (most of them at least), that factory produces similar template designs for other big names with minor alterations and specs. But at the end of the day you buy a brand, warranty and its customer service and that service is why most people return or retain their loyalty towards.

its a fine bumper, i entered the bumper game early and went for a big name as many were still holes in the wall shops with lead times 6 months or more. Probably would have made the same purchase today if i didnt have all plate.

Anyways dont fear people saying things about chinese steel. The fact of the matter is the USA does very little in making any of alloys anymore due to cheaper sourcing elsewhere. China is in fact one of the largest metals producer still around. Many other countries have abandoned due to declining prices, especially oil. Its a touch economy so someone has to provide.....I have a feeling you wont be disapointed with the bumper, just relax and enjoy. if an issue arises there is proof here on tw and you are backed by ebay/paypal. Customer is king in the land of the Americas compared to the rest of the world

I feel like All Pro would be more upset if this was someone copying their design and selling it at a significantly lower price. Unless there is some proof otherwise, this seems very coincidental especially with the locations and such. Curious to see how this turns out.

:drevil:Everybody should let this thread die.............so the issue doesn't get any more attention and risk having these taken from the market, at least until I have enough $$$$ to buy a set:cool:

lol posting wont do you any good. Business is dirty, $$$ has a way of twisting the soul and it only takes a few bad apples to break away to stir some trouble. We have seen it many times on here with TW with some drama being caused by owners and employees of these small shops.
