Recomadtion on side step

my wife is pregnant and hate my truck now cuz is too high for her. I want to get a side step or slider.

 

Go Rhino Dominator II. My wife is height challenged and loves em. This was pre-lift and tires.

 

I have this right now and she complain the step is too small

 

Mine definitely drop down lower but not sure they're any larger.

 

She want something that she feel sure footed when she step on it. She said my is to narrow. That's why I am thinking about the slider or the oem plastic one

Thinking about between the oem plastic runner board or sos off-road slider with the plate and 0degree

 

Nerf bars will definitely look more aggressive but if you need a wider platform for a more secured stepping surface runningboards are for you.

 

I bought Westin nerf bars for my '10. They worked great when my father in law was still alive and I had to bring him places..

 

Hey @ZRXDean when you bought your rhinos did you consider NFAB?

I did - but I liked the removable step plate on the go rhinos. Really just a style thing for me.

 

I LOVE the look of my smittybilt nerf bars, but I think they are pretty much useless as sidesteps, they are just kind of awkward to use. I'm 6'2'' so it doesn't matter much to me . I had the stock runningboards and for a pregnant wife, I think those are your best bet.

 

I bought Ionic Railway 5" tube steps. Plastic and aluminum construction. Wide step without the running board look.

 

i bought my first set of N-fabs for my 2015. ill never buy another brand

 

Go Rhino D2 in chrome, everyone does black. Black steps will last 2 years in salt use areas. Chrome are guaranteed for life of vehicle. My 2 cents.
