Wow, I got stuck in a mostly flat dirt median beside a damn grocery store! Granted it's been raining and the field is full of wonderful North Carolina red clay but come on!

I had to pull over to close the rear door (my kid popped it partially open before I started driving and I didn't notice) so instead of sitting half-way out in the road I pulled off into the "grass". Half grass, half mud, whatever... The slope on the ground is less than 2º running away from the road I was driving on but when I push the door completely closed I swear I see the back tire slide a little bit. I get back in the truck thinking I'm seeing things and SLOWLY try to pull away. Auto LSD starts kicking in like crazy and I'm literally starting to fishtail in place sideways down this slope that's so shallow you'd have to measure it to see it wasn't flat! WTF?!?!!

I wound up almost perpendicular to the road after having to rock back and forth at least a dozen times just to keep from sliding into a small ditch. Of course my tires are full of clay mud so they're slicker than a baby's ass covered in oil. I'd hate to see what would happen if I ever intentionally took these tires off the pavement.
