Today i decided to install yellow LAMIN-X on my fog lamps. The complete job took me 35-minutes and could actually be done faster but i like to take my time
    1. Remove fog lamp bezels, there are 6 plastic tabs to release and they are easy to get to by reaching down from top (use a flashlight so you can see tabs)
    2. Clean fog lenses good, i used a micro fiber towel and isopropyl alcohol
    3. Peel backing off the LAMIN-X film and hold by tabs .. i sprayed a light mist of water/Dawn dish soap on the sticky side
    4. Center the LAMIN-X on fog light lens and work from middle out with your fingers to smooth the film
    5. Use razor blade to cut the 2 tabs off the LAMIN-X
    6. Re-install your fog lamp bezels by just pushing in till you here the tabs click
... and you're all done, this was an easy mod and i like the looks of the yellow lenses, iplan on adding yellow fog lamp bulbs here soon ... any suggestions? Mine take the H16

Did the same with mine shortly after I bought it. I really like the look, plus if I'm following someone at night, they say it's easy to pick me out of the traffic to see if I'm still behind them.

I really wish I would have known the trick of removing the bezels!! That was where I struggled. It came out fine, but it could be better on the edges since the circle of film is a little larger than the diameter of the bezel.

(I've also got a light tint on my lightbar from them) I love Lamin-x!

For my 2016 the fog films were $14.95 .. they have exact fit sizes for different years

Update : added Nokya hyper yellow bulbs to my fogs and also didn't like the amber DRL with the yellow fogs so i replaced DRL bulbs with Halo Solaris yellow halogen bulbs (Y-402)

I actually like the amber better which is why I went with amber Lamin-X film for my fogs. The color is very close to the amber DTRL and parking lights.

Optilux bulbs have more yellow than Nokya bulbs. Probably not an issue for you since you already have yellow film.

I think the lamin-x on the fogs look good, but how functional are they actually driving in fog?

From my experience with quite a few vehicles, foglights and driving lights probably only add anywhere between 10% to 25% additional lighting. It's not much but I guess a little extra light is better than no extra light.

Where do you find the Hella Optilux bulbs in H16 ? The H11 (55W) are easily found but the Tacoma SR5 only has the H16 (19W) fog lights

If you have the factory incandescent bulbs for the DTRL/Turn signals, the amber actually matches better than the yellow.

Stock bulbs. Weird that it only happened on one side. The actual lenses are fine. Just the film got burned. Never buying Lamin-X again lol
