Currently, I have a lifted locked and regeared 100 series on 35's. I think that with the 4.88's and the tires the combo on my truck is great. Before, I was able to see what it was like with 33's and stock gearing and then 33's with the regear. I had enough power that it felt fine... Albeit nicer with the regear, but it was still very comfortable. Every truck is different which leads me to my question. I'm planning on getting a 17 dclb... Maybe a sb... Still not 100% sure yet. Is there a general consensus here on tw about how large of a tire one can go to before you start to considerably lose power on a stock geared truck? It's a very subjective question but I thought I'd ask anyway.
