Good Morning gang...I hope everyone is well and safe. I'm gonna rotate the tires on my truck today and maybe change the oil. I've got about 500 miles to go before the next oil change is due but that Mobile 1 I picked up at Wallys World is calling my name. Well y'all have a safe weekend.

Good Morning TW, back from the Smokies trip, great weather, great place, great fun. 59 yr old body sore from hiking and fishing. Truck did great, the 2.7 spent alot of time in 3rd and 4th gear. Townsend, Tenn. is a great place, nice people. The Steak and Trout restaurant got alot of our money, well worth it. Time to clean truck and put away the gear, enjoy the day my friends.

Spent a day in Cades Cove, neat place. Funny you should say "retire in Townsend", my wife and I said the same thing. Would love to live there, the "Peaceful side of the park". We are all ready planning our next trip, maybe this fall. Would love to see the fall colors. Its a 10 hr drive ,one way for us, so its not bad for a 5-7 day trip. I was amazed at the lack of pesty bugs, alot better down there than in Michigan. No standing water in the mtns for them to breed.

Morning all, starting off like a typical summer, warm weather, smoke from a 100 fires, me in my speedo watering the front lawn, the cops getting complaints...ah summer.

Lawn cut, 250 ft of hedges trimmed, garden weeded. Done with the yard stuff. Took a slab of backstrap out for supper.
Maybe I'll fire up the Nova and take er for a spin.
