2015 auto trans service issue

I'm having a hard time tring to get my 2015 Prerunner V6 with tow package into temp check mode. I jumped pins 4 and 13 on my obd port and get all the flashing lights like the writeup says. I shifts from park to nutral and then to drive six times and back to nutral but I don't get the flashing at temp light. Am I doing something wrong or is there a different procedure for the 2015's?

Try shifting to Neutral instead of nutral?

Damn it yeah my spelling sucks, lol.

 

Mine went into temp check mode easily. You got the flashing lights on the dash which means you jumpered the correct OBD ports.

I have a feeling this shifting back and forth thing is timing related.
