    Good Evening guys,

If really like to replace my plastic rear bumper with a beefy aftermarket one.

I'd really like to keep my factory hitch/trailer package and haven't located a aftermarket bumper that allows that.

The appeal of an aftermarket unit is the addition of recovery points (thinking snowy Midwest weather) and I'd love to add a bumper mount/tailgate swinging tire carrier.

Does anyone have a tire carrier like that along with the back up cam? I'd thing it would render the cam useless.

None of the "built in" units will post a tow figure.. Even though some of them would be better built in the long run.

I have a tow package AND a steel replacement rear bumper. When I was doing research they all take the tow package into consideration. NONE of the ones I saw had a tow hitch as part of the replacement bumper. The bumper and the hitch are totally separate. The steel bumper attaches to the frame in a different location than the factory hitch package does.

I like the Fab Fours version... they have 2 versions for a rear bumper and also several versions for a new front bumper which I'm sure is in my future.

This was an easy install - directions say 3 people. I could easily do it myself with the help of 2 HD buckets. My wife held the bumper in place while I tightened down the bolts. Total time 1hr start to finish. Probably take me 1/2 hr next time around. The only issue I had was the wire harness for the tow package. The stock harness was about 2" too short for the new mount location. I had to get under the truck and undo and redo some tape and connectors to free up some slack enough to connect the to the new location.

Link for where to purchase the Fab Four bumper I bought - look around that site there are 2 versions:
