Shopping For A New Tacoma but Have Concerns

    I have a 1988 LandCruiser with a bonified 1 million miles. Motor, transmission, and rear end are original and untouched. That having been said, I think that I owe myself, and the business a new vehicle. I have been looking at new Tacomas [2016] and have concerns about the overdrive and constant searching for the proper gear on the highway. Question is : can both overdrives be locked out and the vehicle driven in 4th gear? Especially when pulling a trailer ? Thanks for any help you might offer. A 4 door TRD Off Road in Quicksand color is in the works. Thanks again. Doccash
